Bill Henderson, Michael Collins and me were at the Bankside Gallery yesterday with work / sketchbooks / etc to talk to visitors ( if they wanted ! ) and show them the Autumn Exhibition. Michael was also showing the fascinating technique of egg tempera. There were lots of people there and they were all very complimentary about the gallery and the work. I created a ‘Ken Burns’ slide show and took Mac with me – also had music with it – so pleased had to curb my enthusiasm and try to remember banging on about it to the unconverted can be very boring – other Apple users are fine though!

Managed to see your question briefly then lost it….pressed the wrong thing. Sales are there though somewhat slow. Am surviving. Had a big commission from someone in New Jersey which went well so am living off the proceeds. About to start another commission for someone in Canada.
Hopefully there will be some action in the lead up to Christmas then I start painting for shows next year. It’s all go. You just have to work harder for less return but the important thing is to keep painting and do the best you can.
