The Thatched House

Our Grandparents, Bill & Nancy lived at The Thatched House. We called them Pop & Nanny. They built the house in the 1930’s and these photographs were taken for a magazine a few years later.

I remember my grandmother making Scotch pancakes on this stove - the dog's meals were boiled up here (no tinned pet food in those days) and every Sunday lunch

Sunday lunches (and all other meals were cooked on the stove ). The other piece of equipment is the boiler.
